Para el desarrollo de la Inteligencia Emocional es esencial equilibrar los pensamientos negativos y aumentar la habilidad para que los pensamientos positivos sean superiores, ya que  en muchos casos nos hemos dejado llevar de un sentimiento o de sentimientos  que al momento de realizar una acción, actuamos como si llevásemos dardos llenos de veneno o miel emocional.

 

 

 

 

Lo importante de esa experiencia es reflexionar e iniciar una acción más positiva y comprometida con nosotros mismos, es tomar conciencia del daño interno que nos hacemos al permanecer en un estado emocional negativo, y por supuesto el daño que hacemos a nuestros seres más queridos, pueden ser compañeros de trabajo o personas con las que nos comunicamos a diario de acuerdo a nuestra actividad.

A continuación te invito a realizar el ejercicio de Respiración Rítmica,  espero que inicies a partir de hoy éste nuevo entrenamiento,   para combatir cualquier desafío que se te presente y te sea  difícil de manejar los  estados de ánimo.

Ahora siéntese en una posición cómoda y descanse cada una de las partes de su cuerpo. Cierre los ojos y realice una inhalación o inspiración muy lenta y profunda por la nariz, hasta sentir como su abdomen se infla por la presión del aire en el diafragma.

Inhale un poco más de aire para llenar completamente sus pulmones. Hágalo suavemente, esta respiración no tiene nada de forzado o anormal, es volver a nuestra naturaleza, así respira el bebé antes adquirir los malos hábitos de respiración que desarrollamos los adultos.

Mientras inhalas, puedes contar mentalmente del 1 al 6 o manifestar la frase YO PUEDO. De acuerdo con las circunstancias en las que esté trabajando, le agrega el adjetivo que considere conveniente; por ejemplo, YO PUEDO controlar mis emociones, YO PUEDO controlar mis estados de ánimo.

Después de inhalar, sostenga el aire mientras cuenta hasta 6. En éste momento el aire se convierte en oxígeno y de éste modo oxigena sus células cerebrales y su sistema sanguíneo. Se dice también, que aumenta el suministro de energía vital al organismo. Lo mismo que el paso anterior, en vez de contar, puede repetir mentalmente la frase, ES FÁCIL realizar éste ejercicio, ES FÁCIL entrenar mi mente.

Exhale o espire muy lentamente contando nuevamente del 1 al 6 o repítase mentalmente LO ESTOY LOGRANDO, visualizando ese nuevo estado de ánimo o emocional que desea sentir, o cualquier otra frase que lo motive.

Cuando haya terminado de exhalar, cuente nuevamente del 1 al 3 antes de volver a comenzar la secuencia del ejercicio. Después de una secuencia de 10 respiraciones de este tipo, puede empezar a experimentar una agradable sensación de relajación y paz interior.

Ahora, con esa sensación de bienestar después de los ejercicios de respiración, es mucho más fácil relajar todo su cuerpo. Para esto puede utilizar el método que le resulte más agradable. Si no conoce ninguno, sencillamente concéntrese en cada una de las partes de su cuerpo y agradézcales por la función que le prestan y envíeles sentimientos de salud, bienestar y tranquilidad. Notará que es muy fácil relajarse de esta forma.

Al terminar, justo antes de abrir los ojos, recuerde cerrar con la técnica de AFIRMACIÓN: repita la respiración rítmica con las frases mencionadas, YO PUEDO, ES FÁCIL y LO ESTOY LOGRANDO, las afirmaciones son beneficiosas en este instante por el estado sereno y relajado en que se encuentra su mente.

Debemos tener claro que el cerebro hace caso al pensamiento, somos el producto de nuestros pensamientos, si queremos tener cambios, entonces cambiemos nuestra manera de pensar y obtener un estado de ánimo lleno de optimismo, lo cual generará de forma inmediata pensamientos placenteros y nos llevará mágicamente  a ver y sentir  que si podemos modelar una nueva conducta.

Notaremos en este nuevo estado interno un cambio, ya que los cambios en nuestras acciones producen un resultado y ese resultado  será en los pensamientos y la  fisiología (postura, respiración, movimientos oculares). Un cambio en cualquiera de estos tres procesos, va a generar un cambio en el estado interno y por lo tanto un cambio significativo en el desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional.

    • Maria Clara, esa técnica que comparto en mi blog o cualquier otra técnica de respiración es fundamental en el manejo de los estados emocionales que vivimos a diario, por supuesto, son de gran ayuda no sólo en la oxigenación a nuestro cerebro, sino a la vez, aporta a la configuración de nuestra red neuronal, ya que ésta puede ser transformada a voluntad para modificar hábitos de pensamientos, emoción y acción, iniciando de esta forma un proceso de activación de la consciencia.
